{"id":574,"date":"2024-03-15T08:30:27","date_gmt":"2024-03-15T08:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/genius.aero\/?page_id=574"},"modified":"2024-03-15T15:23:39","modified_gmt":"2024-03-15T15:23:39","slug":"work-package-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/genius.aero\/index.php\/work-package-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Work Package 3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WP3 &#8211; Develop UAS 5G Technology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In work package 3, we developed the DroneID5G unit for small UAVs, enabling 5G remote identification and served as basis for the AirPlate spin-out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also integrated 5G connectivity into UAV terminals via the Lorenz AI-Link platform, and explored 5G-based Command &amp; Control (C2) functionality and implement a Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We demonstrated enhanced positioning accuracy achieved by integrating RTK-GNSS over 5G.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, we implemented real-time streaming capabilities, optimizing workflow for autonomous flights.
